Meditek Systems was founded by Rory Leonard in 1988, after realising the demand for reliable medical gas alarms. Equipped with his vast knowledge and experience in the electronics industry, Rory designed and manufactured the MT - APN 16 Alarm Panel System. This alarm panel is so reliable it is still in use today in many hospitals throughout Southern Africa.
Shortly thereafter, Rory discovered the need, not only within his own business, for an easy, simple to use accounting software package. Many months past and Easy-Acc was born. This easy-to-use yet complex software package became an instant hit amongst businesses in Cape Town, and is now in use throughout South Africa, with many happy users as far as Windhoek, Namibia.
In 2006, the Aqua-Blu Pool Light was developed as a response to the need for reliable, quality pool lights that will last for at least 20 years, but still produces a powerful bright light. Since then, other lights have been produced, from fountain lights to stainless steel versions, which appear in the pools of the "One & Only Hotel" in the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town.
To this day, Meditek Systems produces only the best, most reliable products with Rory still taking an active role in the manufacturing process.
